May 12—New Recipes The Silver Fox has to move again. Long story short, his landlady's crazy girlfriend (who is also the property manager) decided to almost double the rent, and the tenants' council can't do anything about it since it's a monthly lease. So, here we go again. I will be spending the next few weeks helping him househunt and then move. Meanwhile, he's busy working the ballet and UT graduations, so I've been cooking for his kids this week. They had French, Mexican, and Greek food, including some new recipes (!), all of which were successes. I posted the recipes for poached pears, pork with olives, spinach and rice, and spinach-artichoke dip. In other site news, I corrected a mistake in the Boba Fett helmet knitting pattern. I don't have a picture of that helmet since I gave it away before taking a photo, so I will have to ask the recipient for pictures. I've updated several pages in housework and home decor. I also updated the main page in Bad Knitting. May 6—Knitting Updates As I said last time, the Silver Fox's kids just moved in with him following an incident with their stepdad. I spoke to CPS, but I'm not sure how much good will come of it. Oh . . . continued April 20—No More Political Blog Since I last updated, I've helped the Silver Fox move.
