November 25—Cliché Bingo finally posted!

First, a real update--I finally finished a couple of games for the stories section! Two versions of the long-promised Cliché Bingo are at last posted. There's much more work to be done there still, and I have many ideas for other games, but I didn't want to wait till I finished all those.

And now a few non-site updates: I had to take Freefall to the vet again because his eye was still bothering him. This trip went much more smoothly than the last, even though he had an abscess. He still complained a great deal, but at least he didn't hyperventilate, try to claw the vet, or pee in his kitty carrier this time. His eye is better now, so I suppose it was worth it. However, his abscess came back, and I have to take him to the vet again. I hope this will be the last time.

I've worked at the Erwin Center a couple of times since Halloween. On the 14th I did the out for the Tool show, which was awesome since I'm a big fan and got to see them backstage. I mean, we didn't talk (sadly); I just saw them walk by, but still. Anyway, the other day I worked there again, this time for the Blue October show. I'll be working the Blue Man Group show on the first, and I'll probably also be working December 26th for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra; I made damn sure to say I was available for that. Last night I worked the out for Aussie Pink Floyd at the Paramount. It went better than I expected, though it was fucking cold.

I went out with a guy I met on OK Cupid the other day. It went well, apart from freezing my ass off and forgetting my pancake in his car. But so far so good.

Meanwhile, I've finished a knitted scarf, and once I complete the hat that goes with it, I'll post pictures and patterns. Both have been royal bitches to knit, and I'm not completely satisfied with either, but I did my best, which was not bad considering how difficult the pattern was.

Thanksgiving was uneventful. My dad and I ate a lot of traditional fare and watched the I Love Lucy marathon. My favorite episode, the one with Harpo Marx, aired. W00t.

I bought a few new plants. When the weather warms up, I'll take them outside and take pictures of them and post them.

Speaking of when the weather warms up, I might be back in Houston by the spring. One of the guys my dad works with is starting a business there and got the funding for it recently, so I hope it won't be long before we're moving back.
