November 2New Books, New Knits I finally have some time off. In addition to work picking up, I have also been helping out a coworker with a hurt kid. Now that the kid is out of the hospital and I have a few days off of work, I have caught up with klutzy incidents and the political blog. I posted a knitting pattern for a Clockwork Orange shirt, which should be awesome (I hope) once it's finished. I also posted a recipe for kolaches. The advantage of working too much is having extra cash. I finally purchased Gödel, Escher, Bach and Guns, Germs, and Steel. I am also, at long last, the proud owner of God Is Not Great, The God Delusion, and The Selfish Gene. I also found a few works by Herman Hesse, Charles Bukowski, and Philip K. Dick I hadn't been able to locate previously. Now it's just a matter of having time to sit down and read them. I am already envisioning a knitting pattern revolving around GEB in some way. One thing at a time, though.
