Based on the striped lace-up arm warmers, I knitted these for a coworker to give to his daughter. I at first tried knitting them in the round because I didn't want an obnoxious seam running down the middle of them, but then I realized that knitting stripes in the round creates a problematic jog, plus the color changes created what felt like a seam anyway. I didn't like the methods for correcting the jog, so I remade the arm warmers in flat knitting and sewed the seam. |
