I really liked the red lace-up arm warmers I'd knitted—they were a big hit, and many of my coworkers complimented them when I wore them when working the AC/DC show—so I decided to knit another, slightly more adventurous pair. I've always liked black and white stripes on socks and arm warmers, so I knitted these and used a black ribbon to lace them up. The only snag was deciding how wide to make the stripes. You could make them as wide or narrow as you like, but I found that skinny stripes worked better on a small project and my small frame. |
