A nuclear physicist (!) emailed me and asked me to knit him a Klein bottle hat and Moebius scarf. Naturally, I could not resist, so I made this hat (and coordinating scarf) for him. I'm totally convinced I should have made the scarf larger, he being considerably larger than my short skinny self, but whatever. I made the hat and scarf both in plain K1P1 rib, unlike the ridiculous reversible cabled thing I made for the undeserving professor. I found this pattern considerably easier. |
