I had several skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease in a color called denim, which I had originally purchased to knit a commissioned Klein bottle hat and Moebius scarf. The guy who'd requested the hat and scarf disappeared, though, so I was stuck with the yarn. I decided to turn it all into hats and socks. I designed two hats and planned to give them to a coworker named Phil as a going away gift. Sadly, he left before I got the chance to give him the hats. Instead I gave them to another coworker as a retirement gift. The hat is a knit four, purl two rib with evenly spaced decreases around the top. You may fold the brim up or leave it down. |
