I've decided it's time to finally get rid of my sizeable yarn stash, which fills twelve wire baskets to bursting. Much of the yarn is not for projects in the works but rather leftover from previous projects or discarded ideas. I toyed with the idea of using the scrap yarn to make a bunch of hats, socks, and other small projects, but the snag was I didn't want all that stuff for myself. I also didn't want to distribute it among friends for whom I'd already knitted. The solution presented itself through work, oddly enough. I was leaving a venue one day and talking to the master carpenter and offered to knit him something. I looked through my yarn stash later, wondering if whatever I knitted could be made with existing scrap yarn. I noted irritably that I probably had enough scrap yarn to knit something for every stagehand in the place. Then I thought, 'Why the hell not?'which, incidentally, is not the best motto when considering a project of this scope, but it's too late now. I decided I'd knit a bunch of hats, socks, and scarves; put them all in a box; and then take the box to work when the weather started cooling off. It occurred to me that small projects would knit up so quickly that I could probably do at least one a week, even if I got busy with work. I decided to have some fun with it and design a different pattern for every project I created, thusly the name of this project. Below is a list of my projects and patterns posted in chronological order.
