A nuclear physicist (!) emailed me and asked me to knit him a Klein bottle hat and Moebius scarf. We went back and forth regarding the details of color, pattern, etc., and this scarf and pattern resulted. I knitted it in a gray blue color in a 1x1 rib since it's reversible. This was the second Moebius scarf I'd knitted, and it was far simpler than the first. In retrospect, I probably would have cast on a lot more stitches and knitted fewer rounds—I shall have to remember that the next time I make one. |
