I was working at the Long Center one November evening when a coworker commented on the Compo hat I was wearing. I of course replied that I had knitted it myself, which led to him asking me to knit a Christmas stocking for him to give to his daughter. After some discussion of yarn types and patterns and so on, I made this. I searched for Christmas stocking patterns online, but I couldn't find anything I really liked, so in the end I combined a few different ideas with my own preferences and created this. |
