I am only posting to paraphrase noted astronomer Phil Plait: "To those of you saying we should launch Newt Gingrich to the moon, please be serious. We don't have the kind of launch capacity for his ego." That is all.
I cracked up watching the news the other night when I heard that Mitt Romney had rented out a football stadium that seated 65,000 to address a crowd of 1,200. I guess he won't be the Republican candidate. Having said that, Rick Santorum wedged his foot in his mouth the other morning on Meet the Press when he effectively said he didn't believe in the separation of church and state. No matter how he tries to rephrase it, that one will come back to haunt him. Also, unrelated to politics mostly, my condolences to the victims in the Ohio school shooting yesterday. I was glad to hear reporters ask if school bullying were a factor, rather than leaping in with criticisms of violent video games and heavy metal. Marilyn Manson isn't the problem; little shits who never stop with hurtful remarks are the problem.
