1 head broccoli, chopped and cooked
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked
1/4 cup butter
6 tablespoons flour
dash salt
dash white pepper
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup cream
3 tablespoons white wine
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Melt butter; blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Add chicken broth; cook and stir till mixture thickens and bubbles. Stir in cream, wine, and cheese.
Place broccoli crosswise in 13x8x2-inch baking dish. Pour half the sauce over; top with chicken. Pour remaining sauce over. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or till heated through. Then broil just till sauce is golden, about 5 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
